Club career

Kryauklis began his career at the children's and youth sports school in his hometown of Ilukste, where he studied under the guidance of coach Vladimir Vinokurov from 1993 to 2002. In 2002, he moved to Daugavpils and continued his career in the youth club " Dinaburg ". In 2005, Tamaz Pertia took Kryauklis to the first team. In 2006, he signed a contract with the Ventspils club, but Kryauklis wasn’t able to prove himself there, and a year later he returned to Daugavpils. He spent three seasons in Dinaburg from 2007 to 2009 and became one of the club’s main players, played 77 matches for the club and scored 6 goals [1] .

In 2009, Dinaburg was expelled from the Latvian Championship by decision of the Latvian Football Federation . The club was convicted of participating in sweepstakes and manipulating the results of the games, which was confirmed by undeniable evidence obtained from competent organizations, including UEFA [2] [3] . Kryauklis left the club. Then he again joined Ventspils. This time he managed to get into the main team, played 25 matches for the club during the season. After this season, Kryauklis received an offer from the Azerbaijani club AZAL and signed a two-year contract [4] . He played 10 matches for the club. In August 2011 he left the club. After that, Kryauklis returned to Latvia and a few days later signed a contract with the club " Metallurg " from the city of Liepaja . He played 24 matches at the club and scored two goals.

July 15, 2012 Kryauklis moved to the South African club Golden Arrows [5] . Spent one season at the club. Then, in August 2013, he moved to another club in the South African championship , in the Cape Town Ajax [6] . In 2014, he returned to Latvia and joined the Jurmala “ Spartak ” [7] .

Since January 2015, he has been playing at Ventspils [8] .

International Career

In the Latvian national team, Kryauklis made his debut on August 12, 2009 in a friendly match against the Bulgarian national team [9] . He was regularly called up to the team until 2012, when Alexander Starkov was the head coach of the team. But from the moment he was appointed to the post of head coach Marjan Pahar in 2013, Kryauklis did not get into the team anymore. In total, Kryauklis played 22 matches for the national team.
