History
In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Peldush volost of the 2nd camp of the 2nd zemsky section of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province .
FENKOVO - the village of Lavrovsky rural society, the number of yards - 6, the number of houses - 6, the number of inhabitants: 18 m., 20 w. P.;
Occupation of residents - agriculture, forestry earnings. (1910 year) [2]
According to 1933, the village of Fenkovo was part of the Yaroslavl Veps national village council of the Vinnitsa national Veps district [3] .
According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Fenkovo was also part of the Yaroslavl village council [4] [5] [6] .
In 1997, 17 people lived in the village of Fenkovo, Yaroslavl volost, in 2002 - 21 people (Vepsians - 71%) [7] [8] .
In 2007, 9 people lived in the village of Fenkovo Vinnitsa SP [9] .
Geography
The village is located in the southwestern part of the district on the highway 41K-738 (access to the village of Lashkovo).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 32 km [9] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Podporozhye is 106 km [4] .
The village is located on the right bank of the Tyanuksa River.
