Graduate of the Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute in 1931.
Labor activity:
- 1931-1941 smelter, chief master, shift supervisor, deputy. shop manager at the Zaporizhstal plant
- 1941-1945 deputy Head of the steelmaking shop at the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Plant
- 1945-1947 Head of the central laboratory of the Dneprospetsstal plant
- 1947-1987 Head Department of Machinery and Technology of Foundry, Dean of the Faculty (1948-1956), Vice-Rector for Scientific Work (1956-1974) of the Zaporizhzhya Engineering Institute. Since 1967, the scientific director of the Laboratory of wear-resistant and cold-resistant steels and alloys.
The author of more than 50 copyright certificates and 4 monographs.
Candidate of Technical Sciences (1946), Associate Professor (1947), Doctor of Technical Sciences (1955), Professor (1956).
Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR (1969).
Laureate of the Lenin Prize of 1963. He was awarded two orders of the Red Banner of Labor (including 07.16.1980 [1] ), the Order of the Badge of Honor, and medals.
