The village got its name due to its position in the Volga floodplain.

Geography

The village is located in the Volga River Delta, on the banks of one of the branches, called Rycha. It is located north of the center of the region and northeast of the center of the region - Astrakhan ^[2] .

History

In 1969, by decree of the Presidium of the Armed Forces of the RSFSR, the village of the fodder farm “Harvester” was renamed Pojmenny ^[3] .
