Ukraine at the 1st European Games , which took place in June 2015 in the capital of Azerbaijan , in the city of Baku , was represented by 246 athletes, most of whom are the basis for the 2016 Olympic Games. The Ukrainian team performed in 19 of 20 sports. The only sport where Ukrainians were not represented was athletics [2] .

Fight
In wrestling competitions, 24 sets of awards were played. 8 for men and women in freestyle wrestling and 8 in Greco-Roman. The tournament was held according to the Olympic system with the elimination. Participants who lost in their duels to future finalists of the competition fell into the consolation round. Each match consists of two rounds of 3 minutes, the winner is the athlete who scores the most points. At the end of the bout, depending on the results, classification points are awarded to athletes in each round. [3]
