Biography
Mesa is a graduate of the Santa Fe Club. On April 21, 2011, in his match against Atletico Junior , he made his debut in the Mustang Cup [1] . On February 27, 2012, in a duel against Deportes Kindio , he scored his first goal for Santa Fe [2] . In the same year, he helped the team champion of Colombia, and two years later repeated the achievement.
In 2015, he won the Colombian Super League tournament, in which the champions of Apertura and Finalision of the previous season meet. Thanks to this victory, Santa Fe got a ticket to the 2015 South American Cup . In this tournament, Francisco spent all 12 matches of his team and scored a goal into the goal of the Argentinean Independente . Mesa without substitutions spent both final matches against Hurricane . Santa Fe won the trophy thanks to a victory in the penalty shootout - 3: 1.
In early 2016, Mesa moved to the Mexican WANL Tigres and was immediately leased to UNAM Pumas . On February 21, in his match against Santos Laguna , he made his debut in the Mexican Example [3] . International Career
Francisco Mesa has not yet made his debut in the Colombian national team, but since September 2015 [6] he has been steadily summoned to the location of the national team for friendly matches and qualifying tournament games for the 2018 World Cup.
