Rules
The draw took place on February 26, 2015 . The 8 teams with the lowest FIFA rating were divided into two baskets: seeded ( Tanzania Namibia Zimbabwe Lesotho ) and unseeded ( Madagascar Swaziland Mauritius Seychelles ). Two teams from each basket made up groups A and B. The winners of both groups reached the quarter-finals.
The draw of the quarter-finalists was carried out on the same principle. 4 teams with the highest rating ( Ghana South Africa Zambia and Mozambique ) made up a basket of seeded quarter-finals, and teams Malawi and Botswana, together with the winners of Groups A and B, is a basket of seedless.
The losers in the quarter finals fought in consolation meetings for 5-8 places, and the losers in the semi-finals held the match for 3rd place.
