Development Projects
In the second half of the 2000s, projects were considered to extend both branches of line 13 in the northern part of Greater Paris. After the extension of the northwestern branch to Le Curtius station on June 14, 2008 [1] · [2] [3] , a proposal was made to build another station - Port de Gennevilliers near the main river port of Greater Paris. Also on June 6, 2013, an alternative development project, the Northern Loop of Hauts-de-Seine ( FR Boucle Nord des Hauts-de-Seine ) was presented with the extension of the branch to Argentoy, the development of project documentation was planned to begin in 2016 [4] . In 2013, the project was included in the Ile de France development program until 2030. [five]
It was planned to extend the northeastern branch of the line by two stages to the Stenz commune, with the option of transferring to T11 Express Train. The project was considered in 2008–2013, in September – December 2013 it was excluded from development plans until 2030. [5] [6] .
In the first half of the 2000s, the French online newspaper “20 Minutes” published an article that spoke about the congestion of line 13 and the proposal to isolate one of the northern branches into an independent line 13bis [7] .
Rolling stock
The line is served by five-car trains of the MF 77 model, based in two depot de Pleyel and atelier de Chatillon . Trains on the line underwent major repairs in 2007 [8] . The trains made fewer seats to include more passengers.
