Biography
After graduating from the Moscow Aviation Institute, he worked at the Znamya Truda serial factory.
Since 1973 - in the Sukhoi Design Bureau , he went through all the steps of the service ladder from the engineer of the project department to the first deputy general designer (executive director), technical director of the Sukhoi Design Bureau. The last position is Director of the Sukhoi Company branch - Sukhoi OKB.
He was the head of the "ed. 54C "and Su-30MKI. Member of the design of the Su-24 , Su-24M, Su-33, Su-35 , Su-30K (commercial) aircraft.
He was buried at the Vagankovskoye cemetery .

Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, honorary aircraft manufacturer, laureate of the P.O. Sukhoi Prize, I degree. Tupolev Prize 2003 - for the series of works "Modernization of aviation systems based on new technical solutions."
He was awarded the Order of Honor , the medal of the Order for Services to the Fatherland , II degree, the anniversary medal " In memory of the 850th anniversary of Moscow ."
