Biography

Born on October 2, 1967 in the city of Chisinau, Moldavian SSR, in a working class family. Baptized in infancy.

In the years 1974-1984 he studied at the school of the village of Gulboka and the village of Gratieshty of the Kriulyansky district of the Moldavian SSR. In 1984-1986 he studied at the construction college of Chisinau .

In 1986-1988, he served in military service in the Armed Forces of the USSR.

Upon returning from the army, he was accepted into the Chisinau Diocesan Administration. He carried the obedience of the subdeacon to the metropolitan of Chisinau and Moldavian Serapion (Fadeev) .

On November 10, 1988, in the Theodoro-Tironovsky Cathedral of the City of Chisinau, Metropolitan of Chisinau Serapion (Fadeev) was ordained a deacon to Theodoro-Tironovsky Cathedral of the city of Kishenev, where he served until February 24, 1989.

On February 25, 1989, in the Theodoro-Tironovsky Cathedral of the city of Chisinau, Metropolitan of Chisinau Serapion was ordained a priest and sent to St. George's Kapriyanovsky Monastery for the performance of pastoral duties.

On May 14, 1989, in the Theodoro-Tironovsky Cathedral of the city of Chisinau, Metropolitan of Chisinau Serapion was tonsured into a monastic name with the name Serapion in honor of St. Serapion the Archbishop of Novgorod .

On July 24, 1989, following the transfer of Metropolitan Serapion to the Tula department , he was assigned to the state with the right to go to the Tula eparchy.

On November 21, 1989, in the All Saints Cathedral of Tula, Metropolitan of Tula and Belevsky Serapion (Fadeev) was elevated to the rank of archimandrite .

October 1, 2001, counted for the state with the right to move to the Voronezh diocese .

October 27, 2003, counted for the state with the right to move to the Diocese of Astana.

On January 3, 2008 he was elected a member of the Diocesan Council of the Diocese of Astana.

In January 2009, he was a member of the Local Council of the Russian Orthodox Church from the monastics of the Diocese of Astana [1] .

March 4, 2010, counted for the state with the right to move to the Perm diocese. On August 20, 2010, he was admitted to the state of Astana Diocese of the Metropolitan Okrug in the Republic of Kazakhstan and was appointed rector of the Epiphany Church under construction in Almaty. On December 15, 2011 he was appointed Chairman of the Audit Commission of the Diocese of Astana.

On February 22, 2014, with the blessing of the Bishop of Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik, Feognost (Dmitriev) was included in the Public Chamber of the city of Novorossiysk .

On March 12, 2014, he was appointed rector of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Affection” in the city of Anapa .

May 5, 2015 at a meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church elected bishop of Biysk and Belokurikha [2] .

On May 16, 2015, he was named Bishop in the home church of All Saints in the Russian land who lit up the Patriarchal residence at the Holy Danilov Monastery in Moscow [3] .

On June 28, 2015, the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin is consecrated Bishop of Biysk and Belokurikha. On December 28, 2018, by the decision of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, he was appointed vicar of the Barnaul diocese with the title Zarinsky [5] .
