The monument is dedicated to the soldiers of the 38th motorcycle regiment, who under the command of Major Mustafayev Abibuly Mustafaevich waged bloody battles with the enemy in October 1941 at the turn of Sergeevka - Fatezh. Located in the vicinity of the village Sergeevka Fatezhsky district of the Kursk region. The initiator of the creation of the memorial sign was the students of the Kursk regional youth sports public organization "SPORADIK". [6] .
