Princess Anthony of Prussia, Duchess of Wellington, Duchess de Ciudad Rodrigo [1] [2] [3] , OBE (born April 28, 1955 , London ) is the great-granddaughter of German Emperor Wilhelm II and husband Charles Wellesley, 9th Duke of Wellington .
Biography
Anthony Elizabeth Bridget Louise Mansfield was born in London on April 28, 1955 in the family of Prince Friedrich of Prussia and Lady Bridget Guinness, daughter of Rupert Guinness, 2nd Earl of Ivy , owner of Guinness breweries.
Marriage and children
On February 3, 1977, at St. Paul's Church in Knightsbridge, London, she married Charles Wellesley, Marquis Duro. The couple had five children:
- Arthur Gerald Wellesley, Marquis Duro (born January 31, 1978 ), married since 2005 to former model and fashion stylist Gemma Kidd (born 1974 ), they have three children:
- Lady May Madeleine (born January 4, 2010)
- Arthur Darcy, Earl of Mornington (born January 4, 2010)
- Lord Alfred (born December 10, 2014)
- Lady Honora Victoria Wellesley (born October 25, 1979 ), husband since July 2004 Orlando Montague (born 1971 ), the youngest son of John Montague, 11th Earl of Sandwich (born 1943 ). they have two children:
- Walter Montague (born December 3, 2005)
- Nancy Jemima Montague (born January 2007)
- Lady Mary Louise Wellesley (born December 16, 1986 )
- Lady Charlotte Anne Wellesley (born October 8, 1990 ), studying at Oxford University
- Lord Frederick Charles Wellesley (born September 30, 1992 ), attends Eton College
As a descendant of Queen Victoria , through her eldest daughter Victoria , the Duchess is in the line of inheritance of the British throne .
