Paolo Tiralongo ( Italian: Paolo Tiralongo ; born July 8, 1977 in Avola , Italy ) is a former Italian professional track and road bicycle racer who played from 2010 to 2017 for the UCI ProTeams Astana Pro Team . He began his professional career in 2000. On May 17, 2015, at the age of 37 years and 313 days, he became the oldest winner of the stage at the Giro d'Italia [1] .
