Biography
Born February 23, 1910 in the city of Krasny, Smolensk region. He graduated from the Military Academy in Leningrad, the designer of artillery systems. He was distributed to Moscow, to the position of chief designer. During the Great Patriotic War he took part in the development of many projects of artillery systems. The most famous of them, the ZIS-3 divisional gun, of which more than 30,000 guns were produced.
Until 1944 he worked at the Central Design Bureau. One of the designers (main linker) of the ZIS-3 divisional gun, a leading designer of the 100-mm BS-3 field gun. The designer of the division gun ZIS-S-58, a prototype of which was made according to his design. Since 1944 he worked at the Industrial Academy. In 1950, he was sent as a military adviser to China. He supervised and taught at the MVTU named after N. E. Bauman at the department "Missile and Impulse Systems". Professor (1962). Later he worked at the Ministry of Defense Industry.
