Description
Exhibits, mock-ups, installations, multimedia expositions of the museum complex “Water Universe” tell about the history, current state and prospects of water supply and sanitation in the city, the use of water in everyday life, and the state of water resources.
In the museum, visitors learn about the water in which life was born, and without which it is impossible. The relationship between man and water is presented on historical material, as well as on the example of the development of the water supply and sanitation system in St. Petersburg. Awareness of the need for respect for natural resources by people, an idea of the labor required to provide a large city with drinking water and wastewater, will contribute to the rational consumption of natural resources.
The museum complex "Water Universe" combines traditional and interactive museum displays. Some exhibits can be touched, see them in action. The interior of the museum preserves the interior of the tower as an architectural ensemble, allowing you to create a modern museum. An unusual fountain is installed in the hall, which symbolizes the Vodokanal of St. Petersburg enterprise and the world of water in general.
