Geography
The aul is located in the southwestern part of the western zone of the Adyge-Khabl district , on both banks of the Bolshaya Shcheblonok river. It is located 21 km west of the district center - Adyge-Khabl and 34 km north-west of the city of Cherkessk .
It borders the lands of settlements: Grushka in the east and Novo-Urupsky in the west.
The village is located in the foothill forest-steppe zone of the republic. The terrain is mostly hilly terrain with wavy plains. The average altitude in the territory of the aul is 652 meters above sea level.
The soil cover is extremely diverse. Pre-Caucasian and foothill chernozems are developed. Floodplain meadow soils in floodplains.
The hydrographic network is mainly represented by the Bolshaya Shcheblonok river and groundwater lying close to the surface of the earth.
The climate is moderately warm. The average annual air temperature is positive and is about + 9 ° С. The average July temperature is + 20 ° C, the average January temperature is −2 ° C. History
The village was founded in 1921 by immigrants from the village of Elburgan . The name of the toponym is translated as "Abaza village."
In 1929, he was included in the composition of the educated Grushkinsky Village Council .
