Volkovsky Village Council was formed in the first years of Soviet power. According to 1923, he was part of the Ramensky volost of the Yegoryevsky district of Moscow province [1] .
According to 1926, the village council included the villages of Volkovo , Novoposelki and Rodionovo [2] .
In 1929, Volkovsky s / s was assigned to the Yegoryevsky district of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region.
On July 17, 1939, the Melentyevsky Village Council (the villages of Gulynky , Zhulevo and Melenteevo ) was attached to the Volkovsky s / s.
On December 28, 1951, the village of Natalino was transferred from Ramensky s / s to Volkovsky.
June 27, 1959 Volkovsky s / s was abolished. Moreover, its territory was transferred to Ramensky s / s [3] .
