History
The village is ancient, the exact date of foundation is unknown. Archaeologists have found traces of the settlement of the IX-XIV centuries.
The associate of Peter I Artemy Volynsky inherited the village of Filisovo and the Batyvo estate from the distant ancestor of Bobrok Volynsky from the Gedeminovich clan [2] .
By the end of the 19th century, the village of Filisovo was a large village with 68 yards, where 235 male souls lived. The trade turnover of the Theological Fair (held on September 26), which brought cloth and wool, cattle, reached 3235 rubles in silver. In 1867, the Filisov School was opened in Filisov.
Geography
Filisovo is located in the eastern part of the Rodnikovsky district. The distance to the regional center is 60 km, to the district center Rodniki - 13 km. The river Vozopol flows through the village.
Climate
The climate is temperate continental . The average annual air temperature is 3.1 ° C. In the annual course, average monthly temperatures vary from +18.3 ° С in July, to -11.9 ° С in January. The village has a Filisovskaya rural district hospital with 20 beds, a Filisovskaya secondary school with a kindergarten department, a rural culture house, and a library. A reinforced concrete bridge was built across the Vozopol River. Water is taken through artesian wells.
