Dnieper goat breeder , or Long-fruited goat breeder [2] ( lat. Tragopogon borysthenicus ) - a species of dicotyledonous plants of the genus Goat breeder ( Tragopogon ) of the Asteraceae family. First described by Ukrainian botanist Ivan Vlasovich Artemchuk in 1937 [3] [4] .

It grows on the edges, clearings, meadows, steppes, along roadsides and on wastelands [2] .

The leaves are simple, linear, pubescent, with a sharp tip and a smooth or wavy edge [2] .
An inflorescence is a basket ranging in size from 1-2 to 5 cm or more, carries yellow flowers [2] .
The fruit is an achene of brown, yellow or gray color, has appendages in the form of a crest [2] .
