Geography
The village is located on the right bank of the Babka River (a tributary of the Sylva ). The highway Kukushtan - Osa passes through the southern outskirts of the village.
History
The village was founded in 1820 by the Kungur economic (formerly monastic) peasants. Initially known as the village of Palnik (in Perm dialects, the omentum is a burnt out or burnt place for arable land in the forest; the definition of “Lower” is explained by the fact that the village of Upper Palnik used to be nearby). The village became in 1912, when the wooden chapel available here was rebuilt into the Mikhailo-Arkhangelsk Church. In August 1921, a shoe artel was formed. December 1, 1929 there was a collective farm "Activist", which lasted until the 1950s. March 20, 1969 on the basis of the branch of the state farm "Platoshinsky" organized the state farm "Palnikovsky" [2] .
