Geography
The settlement is located in the north-west of the region, in the steppe Crimea . It borders in the south and west with Suvorovsky , in the north-west with Dobrushinsky , in the north and east with Stolbovsky and in the south-east with Veresaevsky rural settlements [5] .
The settlement area is 76.7 km² [1] .
The main thoroughfare: the 35N-484 road from the Razdolnoe highway to Evpatoria [6] (according to the Ukrainian classification, the C-0-11237 road [7] ).

History
In the 1950s, the Kolpov village council was formed as part of the Evpatoria district , since it already existed on June 15, 1960. On this date, the council included the settlements [13] :

On January 1, 1965, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR “On Amendments to the Administrative Zoning of the Ukrainian SSR in the Crimean Region”, the Yevpatoriya district was abolished and the village council was included in the Saki district [14] [15] (according to other sources, February 11, 1963 [16 ] ). In time, Friendship and Krasnovka were abolished [17] , Zheltokammenka, Pobednaya and Tunnelny by 1968 transferred to the Suvorov Village Council [18] . In 1978, the Stolbovo village council was allocated [19] and the council acquired the present composition.
From February 12, 1991, the village council in the restored Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [20] , on February 26, 1992, renamed the Autonomous Republic of Crimea [21] . From March 21, 2014 - as part of the Republic of Crimea of Russia [22] . The law "On the establishment of the boundaries of municipalities and the status of municipalities in the Republic of Crimea" of 4 June 2014 declared the territory of the administrative unit a municipal entity with the status of a rural settlement [23] .
