The son of Lieutenant General N.G. Baggovut .
He graduated from the 1st military gymnasium. He entered the service on 08/13/1870. He graduated from the Nikolaev Cavalry School ; in 1872 he was released as ensign in the Life Guards Horse Grenadier Regiment . Lieutenant (1876), staff captain (1880), staff captain (1882), captain (1886), colonel (1892).
05/04/1897 - 01/11/1900 - commander of the 28th Novgorod Dragoon Regiment .
01/11/1900 - 02/10/1910 - manager of the Strelets State stud farm, major general (1905).
02/10/1910 - 01/20/1911 - consisted of the Ministry of War.
01/20/1911 - 02/15/1913 - Chairman of the repair commission of the Kharkov region.
02/15/1913 - 1917 - general for assignments under the head of the Directorate of Army Repair, Lieutenant General (1913).
In 1918 he was mobilized in the Red Army .

- Baggovut, Vladimir Nikolaevich (d. 09.29.1984, Brussels). He graduated from the Nikolaev Cavalry School. Headquarters-captain of the 1st Hussars, 17th Dragoons and Life Guards of the Horse Grenadier Regiments. He served in the All-Union Socialist League , in July 1919 the squadron commander of his regiment in the 2nd Consolidated Guards Cavalry Regiment, and in October 1920 in the Guards Cavalry Regiment.
