Content
Physical — geographical characteristics
The municipality is located in the western part of the Khotynetsky district and borders in the south and west with the Bryansk region , in the north with the Kaluga region , in the east with the Khotiml-Kuzmyonkovsky rural settlement , in the south-east with the Melovsky rural settlement .
The main rivers are the Obelna , Vytebet , Vortush , Pesochnya .
Climate
The territory of the settlement is dominated by a moderately continental type of climate (according to the Köppen classification Dfb ).
History
Alekhinskoe rural settlement was formed on October 25, 2004 [1] .
During World War II, the territory of the municipality was occupied by the German fascist invaders from October 5, 1941 [5] . For almost two years the policy of terror, violence and looting of the fascists over the local population continued, which did not submit to them, but only continued to bravely resist. The administrative center, the village of Alekhino, was liberated on August 11, 1943 by the efforts of the 31st Guards Rifle Division [5] of the Red Army .
