Alexander G. Lazutkin (born July 18, 1935 ) is a former rector of the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute , a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan , doctor of technical sciences , professor .

Biography
Alexander Lazutkin was born in the village of Verkhny Syromyas, Sosnovoborsky district, Penza region .
In 1953 he entered the Kryvyi Rih Mining Institute .
In 1956 he transferred to the Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute , which he graduated in 1958 with a degree in mining mechanics .
In 1959-1962, he worked as an engineer -designer, head of the site, shop manager of the Novokaraganda machine-building plant [1] .
In 1962-1970 he worked as a senior lecturer and associate professor at the department of mining machines at the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute . In 1967 he defended his thesis.
Since 1971, head of the department of mining machines, at the same time vice-rector for scientific work of the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute [1] .
In 1979 he defended his doctoral dissertation, in 1981 received the academic title of professor.
From 1987 to 1994 he was the rector of the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute.
In 1989, he was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR.
In 1994 he moved to Russia , in the city of Murom .
From 1994 to 2003, he was the head of the Department of Automatic Machines and Automatic Lines of the Murom Institute (branch) of Vladimir State University .
Scientific activity
A.G. Lazutkin is a leading specialist in the field of creation of shock mechanisms with a hydropneumatic drive, designed to destroy rocks, harden metals by surface plastic deformation, etc.
Proceedings
The author of more than 200 scientific papers and 1100 inventions [1] .
Rewards

- State Prize of the Kazakh SSR (1986).
