The Ostrov village village is a municipality in the Ostrovsky district of the Kostroma region of Russia .

The administrative center is the village of Ostrovskoye (not part of the settlement).

Content

History

Ostrovsky rural settlement was established on December 30, 2004 in accordance with the Law of the Kostroma Region No. 237-ZKO ^[2] , the status and boundaries of the municipality are established.

On February 11, 2010, in accordance with the Law of the Kostroma Region No. 575-4-ZKO ^[3] , the abolished Khomutovsky and Yuryevsky rural settlements were included in the Ostrovsky rural settlement.
