Bo Diddley

Bo Diddley (also known as Ellas McDaniel ; born Ellas Ota Bates ; Ellas Otha Bates ; December 30, 1928 - June 2, 2008) is an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter. One of the founders of rock and roll . He brought a number of changes to popular music, including energetic guitar rhythms and accelerated transitions. Biography

Bo Diddley is considered one of the founders of rock music (he is called "The Originator"). He is the recipient of the Grammy Award for Lifetime Achievement (1998) and one of the twenty greatest musicians in rock and roll history (according to Rolling Stone magazine ). In 2005, Bo Diddley celebrated the sixtieth anniversary of his musical career with tours across Australia and Europe. In May 2007, the musician suffered a stroke on stage right during the concert, after which he lost the ability to speak; On June 2, 2008, Bo Diddley died in a hospital in Archer , Florida as a result of a heart attack [5] .
