“I believe that there is moral and constitutional equivalence between laws that are designed to enslave any race and laws that provide privileges on the basis of race to strengthen the modern notion of equality ... In my opinion, the laws adopted by the government on racial discrimination based on benevolent racial prejudices are as harmful as laws enacted on the basis of negative racial prejudices. ”
“The judge’s job is to say what the law says, and not that he wants this law to say. There is a difference between the work of a judge and the work of a politician. Judicial work requires a certain impartiality. ”
“Racial differences, gender differences, someone did not look at you that way, someone said something. Everyone suddenly became so sensitive. You know, if I were so sensitive in the 60s, I would still be stuck in Georgia. ”
“Never hide your faith or your beliefs. This is especially important in the modern world, which seems to have gone crazy with its political correctness. ”
“I am a man of another time. Today we focus too much on our rights and on the fact that we owe something, and not often today you hear about our responsibilities and our duty as citizens of this country. ”
“In our time of increased risk for the preservation of our freedoms, which comes from the current form of our government, I think it is more and more important for citizens to be responsible and fulfill their duties as citizens of this country. But unfortunately, today your resentment seems to mean more for advancement and success than your personal behavior. ”
“Today we hardly hear about our personal responsibility when discussing our freedoms.”
