The old German resort town (in 1837 received the official name "Severomorsky resort"), known for its traditional holidays - the days of crab and fishing (August) and the days of cabbage (September). From the sights of the city there is a port museum, a lighthouse and the church of St. Clement, built in the 15th century. Busum is part of the Ditmarschen district.
