Trypogeus aureopubens (lat.) Is a species of barbel beetles of the genus Trypogeus from the subfamily Dorcasominae . Southeast Asia : China ( Yunnan ), Thailand [1] .

Description
The average size of the barbel beetles (males 10-14 mm long, about 4 mm wide; females 14-16 mm long, about 5 mm wide), tan. Antennae brown with reddish 1-3 segments and white 10-11 segments. The antennae reach the end of the elytra. Pronotum subcylindrical, slightly wider than its length. Elytra narrow. The species was first described in 1913 , and its validity was confirmed in 2015 during a generic revision carried out by the Spanish entomologist Eduard Vives ( Eduard Vives , Museu de Ciuències Naturals de Barcelona, Terrassa , Spain ) [1] [2] [3] .
