Tournament Rules

8 teams took part in the Premier League “A”, 4 of which represented the Moscow club Moskvich (four Moscow teams), two St. Petersburg club Adamant (Adamant -1 and Adamant -2), the team of Krasnodar region [1] and another team from Moscow (“Sparrow Hills”).

In contrast to the championships of previous years, the current championship, in addition to the two-round tournament, also included the playoff stage, held in the format of the largest international tournaments: two qualifying matches (between the two best teams of the preliminary stage for direct access to the finals and between the 3rd and 4th teams for reaching the semifinal), the semifinal between the loser in the first qualifying match and the winner in the second, the match for 3rd place between the losers of the semifinal and first qualification and the final. The preliminary stage was carried out in two circles. Places were distributed by the total number of victories. In case of equality of this for two or more teams of the indicator, priority was given to advantage in personal meetings of rivals.

The team that finished last in the championship leaves the Premier League “A”. In the transitional matches for the right to play next season, the 7th Premier League “A” team and the 2nd Premier League “B” meet in the leading division.

All championship matches in all divisions were held in the curling center “ Ice Cube ” in Sochi . The 1st round of the major league “A” was held from February 19 to 22, the 2nd round and the playoffs of the major league “A” and the tournament of the major league “B” - from April 27 to May 3.
