Biography
Born in Richmond, Virginia. He received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Virginia and graduated from the law faculty of Virginia University . Practiced law for 9 years in Washington.
Baldacci began writing stories from childhood, since his mother gave him a notebook. For two decades, he composed stories and screenplays, but without much success.
During his legal practice, Baldacci wrote his first novel for three years - “Absolute Power”, published in 1996. The book became an international bestseller and was filmed by Clint Eastwood in 1997.
By 2013, Baldacci wrote 25 novels, and more than 110 million copies of his books were printed worldwide [5] . They are translated into more than 45 languages and are sold in more than 80 countries around the world.
