Alban Asan Barmanbekuly

Alban Asan Barmanbekuly ( 1866 - 1916 , winter hut Ushkakpak, now Rayymbek district of Almaty region ) is a Kazakh poet. Ilyas Dzhansugurov published in his journal Zhanga Mektep (1926, Nos. 9-10) his philosophical tolgau reflection on Zheti Kissa; in 1934 he published the collection "Akır Zaman". Unpublished Tolgau are kept in the archives of the M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art and in the Central Bank of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In honor of the poet, the secondary school-gymnasium named after Alban Asan Barmanbekuly was named in the village of Karasaz in the Rayymbek district of Almaty region.
