Biography

Lutheran. From the Swedish noble family of the Grand Duchy of Finland . Son of Lieutenant Colonel Karl-Wilhelm Karlovich Wadensherny.

He graduated from the Finnish Cadet Corps . Entered into service in 1881 as an ensign in the Life Guards 4th Rifle Battalion . Second lieutenant (1884), lieutenant (1887), head captain (1894), captain (1899), colonel (1903).

The commander of the 147th Samara Infantry Regiment (1908–1910), then the 12th Infantry Regiment (1910–1913). Major General (1913). Commander of the 2nd Brigade of the 48th Infantry Division (July-August 1913). Commander of the 2nd Brigade of the 5th Infantry Division (from 17 (30) .08.1913).

He was awarded the St. George Arms (09 (22) .03.1915) for taking the height occupied by the enemy in battle on 17 (30) August 1914. Head of the 81st Infantry Division (May-July 1915). Lieutenant General (1915). Head of the 37th Infantry Division (from 17 (30) .07.1915). The reserve ranks at the headquarters of the Odessa VO (17 (30) .10.1917), then the Kiev VO (from 27.11 (10.12) .1917).

Member of the White movement in the north. In the summer - autumn of 1919 the head of the National Militia of the Northern Region . Together with his son, captured in February 1920 and executed.
