Arthur Jan Marczewski ( Polish: Artur Marczewski ; August 3, 1896 , Lodz - January 1945 ) - Polish footballer , defender .
He played only one game for the Polish team , but it was a historic match, the first match for the national team - December 18, 1921 . Poland lost in Budapest Hungary 0-1. He played for the Warsaw Polonia , played for the club from 1919 to 1923 . He completed his career in his hometown in 1927 . For many years he was a judge of the national championship .
During the Second World War, he sided with the Germans. He went missing during the fighting of January 1945.
