The 1st European Underwater Orienteering Championship was held in the Italian Anjara from August 5 to August 6, 1967 on Lake Lago.

Italy , USSR , Sweden , Bulgaria , Germany , Switzerland , Czechoslovakia , Denmark , Austria and France sent their athletes to the competition.
