Biography
Cossack of the Kuban Cossack army . He entered the service in 1872. He graduated from the Stavropol Cossack Junker School , in 1877 a coroon was released to the Poltava 1st Cossack Regiment . He participated in the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878 and the campaigns of 1879-1881 in Turkestan. Sotnik (1881), Yesaul (1884). He graduated from the Officer Cavalry School. Army foreman (1901). Commander of the 2nd Labinsk Cossack Regiment (1905-1908), Colonel (1906). Commander of the 1st Uman Cossack Regiment (1908-1910), Major General (1910). In 1910-1913, the commander of the 1st Brigade of the 2nd Caucasian Cossack Division . Dismissed from service with the rank of lieutenant general by age qualification with uniform and pension (12/31/1913).
After the outbreak of World War I, on October 22, 1914, he was returned to service with the rank of Major General. Head of the 3rd Trans-Baikal Separate Cossack Brigade (10/22/1914 - 12/30/1915), transferred in 1915 to the Caucasian Front and the Persian Theater . Participated in the Charpentier raid and the Battle of Manzikert . Since July 1915, the brigade operated in Iranian Azerbaijan .
Since December 30, 1915, he was in the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Caucasian Military District .
