Biography

Olga Dmitrievna Zvereva was born in 1918 in the village of Pruzhinki, Voronezh province [1] in the family of Dmitry Kirillovich and Anastasia Filippovna Maklakovy.

In 1941 she graduated from the 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute . With the outbreak of the war, she wanted to volunteer for the front, but was assigned to medical work in the city of Chern of the Tula Region. On October 7, 1941, the inhabitants of this city were evacuated, and O. D. Maklakova volunteered for the 2nd Field Mobile Hospital of the Western Front . In 1942, she was transferred to the 147th medical battalion of the 331rd infantry division of the 2nd Belorussian Front as a surgeon. In April 1944, she contracted pneumonia and was soon demobilized.

During the war she was awarded the medal "For Military Merit" (1942) [2] , the Order of the Red Star (1943) [3] and the medal "For the Defense of Moscow" (1944).

After the war, she worked as a pediatrician, including for many years the chief doctor of the children's building of the Central Kremlin Hospital.

In 1961 she was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor. In 1965-1967 she was a member of the Kiev district committee of the CPSU in Moscow. In 1969, O. D. Zvereva was awarded the title of Honored Doctor of the RSFSR, in 1977 she was awarded the Veteran of Labor medal .

She died in Moscow on April 13, 2008, and was buried in the Kuntsevo cemetery .

Husband - Vladimir Yuryevich Zverev (1917-1993), great-grandson of M. L. Lyudogovsky , grandson of D. M. Markelov .

  • Dmitry (1944–2019 [4] ), pediatric surgeon, urologist, hemodialysis specialist [5] ;
  • Nicholas (born 1949), retired seaman, captain of the first rank;
  • Yuri (born 1951).
