At the World Championships in 2014 in Minsk, he won silver medals.
Career
Palola spent his entire professional career in Finland, where he played for Lucco, Ilves (bronze medals in the 2010/11 season), Tapparu (silver medals 2012/13, 2013/14 and 2014/15). In the 2014/15 season, he became the club's top scorer in the regular season (49 points in 60 matches), and scored 11 goals in 20 games in the playoffs. “Tappara” in the stubborn final series lost to “ Karpat ” (3: 4), while all seven matches ended with a difference of one goal, and five of them were played overtime.
May 1, 2015 Palola moved to the Podolsky “Vityaz” . In 27 games, Olli scored 5 points (1 + 4).
He spent the 2016/17 season in the Swedish Championship for Veksjo . Scored 48 points in 52 games.
On June 12, 2017, he signed a contract with Yokerit , performing in the KHL .
