Location
Located on the border with Lower Saxony . In the central square of the city there is a protected natural monument: an oak and a large boulder with the inscription “Be worthy of the fathers” ( German: Seid der Väter wert. ) In memory of the victims of the war of 1813 [2] .

In the middle is a silver church on a green field with a lancet black doorway and two black arched window openings; tower with a round black opening. Top left golden branch of linden with three leaves, top right golden wheel with 6 spokes.

The flag consists of three stripes: green - white - green with the image of the coat of arms on the central wide white strip.
