House of Peers (France)
On the original meaning of the term - Peerity of France , List of peers of France .
In 1814, Louis XVIII created - following the example of the English model - the House of Peers, which became one of the institutions of the country's legislative branch: 1) the upper house of parliament and 2) the court for state crimes and for official crimes of deputies and ministers.
During the Hundred Days , Napoleon I also appointed peers of France. The following is a list of members of the House of Peers as they were at the end of the Hundred Days.
