Biography
Born in the village of Nikolaevka (now Aidar-Nikolaevka in the Novoaydarsky district , Lugansk region). In 1935-1939 he worked at the mine as an underground pump driver.
In 1939-1943 he served in the Red Army. Member of World War II . He was seriously injured, disability commissions.
He worked as the Komsomol of the mine, the first secretary of the Komsomol district committee in Kadievka. In 1949-1957 the secretary of the party organization of the mine of the Kirovugol trust. He graduated from the evening technical school and correspondence department of the Kharkov Mining Institute .
From March 1957 to December 1973, he was the first secretary of the Golubovsky District Committee of the Voroshilovgrad Region, which was renamed the Kirov City Committee of the Communist Party in 1962.
In 1964, the Lenin Prize was awarded for the improvement of methods for organizing high-speed mining operations.
In December 1973 he was arrested for causing substantial damage to the state on an especially large scale (72 thousand rubles) - for distributing season tickets for football matches of the Shakhtar city team. Sentenced to 12 years in prison. Released in 1983 ahead of schedule for exemplary behavior (served 9 years and 2 months).
Prior to retirement, he worked as the head of the training center at the Bezhanovskaya mine.
In 1995, he was elected chairman of the city Council of Veterans.
