The album received unanimous positive reviews and reviews from music critics and online publications: Slant Magazine ^[7] , Pitchfork ^[9] , The Telegraph ^[5] , The Observer ^[4] , Rolling Stone ^[8] . Sound & Color was released on April 21, 2015, topping the united Billboard 200 (USA) hit parade with a print run of 96,000 copies in its first week of release. Sound & Color became the first charttopper for the group. He simultaneously topped several American charts: No. 1 in the charts Billboard 200, Top Rock Albums , Alternative Albums , Digital Albums , Independent Albums (USA) ^[3] ^[11] ^[15] . The album received 6 Grammy Awards nominations, including Album of the Year , Best Alternative Album , Best Producer , Best Sound Engineer ^[16] .
