Two marten skin in a golden field. In a sign that this city residents are making a noble bargain soft junk . In the upper part of the shield is the Coat of Arms of Vologda : “In the scarlet field of the shield you can see a hand emerging from the cloud holding a golden power with a silver sword.

Coat of Arms History

In 1780, Lalsk became a county town of the Lalsky district of Vologda governorship .

The coat of arms of Lalska was highly approved by Empress Catherine II on October 2 (13), 1780, together with other emblems of the cities of the Vologda governorate (PSZ, 1780, Law No. 15069) [2] [3] .

In 1927, Lalsk lost the status of a city and became a village. In 1941, the village was transferred to the Kirov region. In 2006, the Lalsky urban settlement was formed. Decisions on the revival or restoration of the historical coat of arms of Lalsk as its official symbol have not yet been made.
