Childhood

Born April 13, 1960 in the village of Volyn, Ryazan Region.

Mother, Antonina Vasilievna, was from the Sergeyev family, which has long been famous for its excellent voices. The father, Ivan Nikolaevich, belonged to the Berezins, where almost everyone played several musical instruments. Dad was the best accordionist in the village, and by the age of 5, Lyudmila Nikolaeva not only sang, but she herself mastered the accordion. From childhood, she was always taken with her to village holidays, where she presented to others everything that she could and could do as an artist.

Nikolaev's artistic activity began right after school, entering the Ryazan State Russian Folk Choir under the direction of Evgeny Popov, the author of the song “Over the Window a Month” that thundered in those years. At the audition, they said to her: “It hurts so bad. And how can such a thin girl have such a strong soprano? I’ll take you to the team, but let your mother bring you a bag of potatoes so you can eat. ” So she got on the big stage, not yet having a passport, but only a birth certificate, with which she traveled to concerts. Later, Nikolaev decided to get an education and left for Moscow.

School

Having entered the school to them. Ippolitova - Ivanova, Lyudmila Nikolaeva gets to Nikolai Tarasenko, a vocal teacher. On his course, she was considered the best, and students often listened under the door how to deal with her. In the future, she was supposed to graduate from the vocational school, but circumstances forced her to leave the faculty and she transferred to the conductor-choral department. And it seemed that the singer’s career was over, but once Lyudmila Zykina arrived in Ryazan, and Lyudmila Nikolaeva decided to listen. The listening was a success, and Lyudmila Nikolaeva falls into the illustrious collective. For about nine years she sang with Lyudmila Georgievna Zykina, having traveled with her the whole world. During this time, she becomes a laureate of two competitions, in 1985 - a diploma winner of the All-Russian contest of folk song singers and in 1990 - a laureate of the All-Russian television and radio contest of folk song singers “Voices of Russia”.

Beginning of a solo career

After leaving the team of L. Zykina, Lyudmila Nikolaeva begins to collaborate with Sasha Tsygankov, with whom she toured the United States. She recorded an album with Nikolai Nikolayevich Kalinin, artistic director of the Osipov Orchestra. And wrote it down in one day. As the singer herself recalls: - “Now they don’t write like that. Traditionally, Russian folk songs are performed under the orchestra. There are feelings and emotions. This is heard differently. I think that a performer who did not sing under an orchestra is not a performer. ”

The Russian Soul Ensemble

In 1994, the Russian Soul group was created, which included musicians Alexander Pivovarov, Evgeny Shirochenkov, Vladimir Grishin and Lyudmila Nikolaeva. The first composition of the "Russian Soul" lasted ten years, during which they traveled to many countries. Unfortunately, some musicians are no longer alive. At first Evgeny Shirochenkov passed away, then Vladimir Grishin tragically died. Today the team "Russian Soul" continues to exist. The musicians were joined by a ballet performing in a concert with their individual numbers. The ballet was directed by Andrei Pirogov (1962 - 2012).

- In our profession, everything happens without curiosities. I remember one day our choreographer fell right under the stage in the middle of the concert, it turned out that the repair in the hall was done poorly, the boards could not stand it. But we are used to not paying attention to overlays, if they happen, because the concert is fast and pace. It happens that we are late, we arrive 5 minutes before the exit. I remember in Korea on a tour with me a funny story happened. While our soundcheck was on, they left me in the car. So I rested. I slept for an hour and a half, and no one was following me, but I don’t know how to close the car. In general, I get out of the car, and some Korean starts to photograph me. I think I'll ask him to close the car. I hold out the keys to him and smile. And as he goggles, he began to blur something, it is clear that he was terribly embarrassed. Later I realized that he apparently thought that I was offering him something indecent.

“I buy fabrics, but mostly sewing by professionals. In particular, a wonderful designer, fashion designer Alexandra Gruzinova. She is a very responsible person, she feels a figure, I'm not so thin, but she knows how to make me like that. "

As Lyudmila Nikolaeva says: “Fate gave me the opportunity to sing. And life brought together the most talented poets and composers. I am happy that I worked and work with them. I learned a lot from them, and now I write songs myself. However, it was necessary to overcome a certain “barrier”. And again, the case helped. Once, we discussed with the composer Vitaly Okorokov the song “Kuterma”. They argued about the chorus, and he said that I corrected what I consider necessary. I did and realized that I can. And for several years now I have been trying to write songs myself in the best traditions of Russian folklore and modern music. So the song “Hops with a Dodger” was born in a matter of seconds. Russian songs are the most favorite. They fill my soul with love and delight. They can bring joy and unrestrained fun, and can make you cry. They excite, touching the most tender strings in the soul. And when I see the audience sing along to us, I understand that everything that we have done and are doing is not in vain! Come to our “Russian soul”. Come at any time and for any reason. My life is a stormy river, and in this cycle there is everything: joy and pain, fun and sadness. I have always shared and am sharing with you everything that gave me life, sincerely. Come to our “Russian soul” and we will sing together with you! ”
