Akuyik - a necropolis (XVII - XX centuries), a monument of architecture of art of the Aral-Caspian region. In the plan is a trapezoidal platform stretched from east to west. The name Akuyik (Kazakh aқ - white) is associated with the natural exposure of the limestone massif in the western part of the necropolis. Among 20 objects, 4 large stone saganatams and 3 domed mausoleums located in the eastern part of the necropolis have special architectural and ethnographic significance. Saganatams are made to the shape of regular quadrangular fences. Among the three domed structures, the Tazhi mausoleum in the southeastern part of Akuyik (dimensions 6.24 × 4.20 m, height 8.6 m) is distinguished by the richness of decorative ornamentation.
