From July 1, 1950 to December 31, 1956, the village was part of the Demzin community [1] .
Until December 31, 2009 Tsabakuk had the status of a community (commune). The population was 206 people (as of December 31, 2006). It covers an area of 11.41 km².
January 1, 2010 the Tsabakuk community became part of the city of Jericho [2] .
