Rzhanov Evgeny Aleksandrovich (born 1938) - Soviet and Ukrainian pianist , teacher, honored artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1967) [1] .

Biography
Born on April 13, 1938 in the city of Kharkov [1] in a family of musicians.
He studied in the Kiev Decade with the teacher Daniil Yudilevich.
From 1956 to 1964 he studied at the Moscow Conservatory. P. I. Tchaikovsky at the famous professor Yakov Flier , where from 1961 to 1964 he was a graduate student in the class of J. Flier and L. Vlasenko.
In 1964, he became one of the finalists of the International Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels [2] .
In the mid-60s he began teaching at the Kiev Conservatory and the Kiev Specialized Music School.
Many toured the republics of the Soviet Union. Now [ when? ] also continues to tour throughout Europe. He was the head of the piano department of the Kiev Conservatory. P. I. Tchaikovsky, held many thematic concerts, created competitions, including the founder of the N.V. Lysenko . Often Evgenia Rzhanova is invited to the contests as a jury.

In 1960-1980, he was the only pianist who played all the opuses of Ukrainian composers: L. Revutsky , B. Lyatoshynsky and V. Kosenko.
Chamber music, as well as works of the 20th century, contemporary composers, and music of the 18th century played an important role among the performing activities of the artist. Evgeny Rzhanov gives concerts playing the harpsichord and organ.
In the 80-90s he was an artist of the Organ Hall in Kiev.
Since 1992 he moves to live in Germany, where he opens a small philharmonic society and actively performs with concerts throughout Europe.
In 2010 he returned to Ukraine and continues to teach at the Kiev Institute of Music. R.M. Glier and the Kiev Secondary Special Music School. V. Lysenko.
