History
The first mention of the settlement dates back to 1390 .
Until December 31, 2009, Strach formed its own commune, which also included the villages of Berkau ( German Berkau , ) and Grabo ( German Grabo , ).
January 1, 2010 , after the reforms, Strach, together with Berkau and Grabo, became part of the Wittenberg urban district as a district [1] .
