Demzin community existed until December 31, 2009. It was subdivided into the settlements of Grosdemzin, Kleindemzin, Kleinwusterwitz and subdistricts Binnenheide, Drayheuzer, Veershof. January 1, 2010 became part of the city Yerikhov [1] . The last burgomaster was Jurgen Stashull.
