Justification of the symbolism ^[2] :

The drawing of the coat of arms and flag in the language of symbols and allegories conveys the historical, socio-economic and natural features of the city.

The settlement on the site of the modern city of Zuevka was founded in 1898 in connection with the construction of the Perm - Vyatka - Kotlas railway. The station settlement arose between the Kos and Kordyaga rivers. The closest settlement to the station was Zui village, hence the name Zuevka. It is most likely that the village, and then the station and the city got their name from the name of the charadriiformes - the little pigs that were found in the vicinity. The name of the city is transmitted in the coat of arms as a flying bird, which makes the coat of arms “ vowel ” and “speaking”. In addition, a flying bird is a symbol of determination and determination. The railway, which caused Zuevka, as well as being the main occupation of its inhabitants, is symbolically conveyed by a black and silver belt at the bottom of the figure. Silver wavy pillars on the sides represent the Kos and Kordyaga rivers.

Silver symbolizes purity, nobility, harmony and philanthropy. The azure color - and this is blue and all its shades (the color on the common canvas of the coat of arms and the Flag) - is a symbol of beauty, wealth, perseverance and love for the motherland. Black color represents wisdom, honor, faith and the desire for victory.
